Most of the preseutu are practical.Knitted scarf* or mufflers, mittens and slipper* nre favorites with feminine donor*, whereas the gifts of the farmers usunlly take the form of pumpkins, husbel basket* of potatoes, barrels of apple* and turkeys. Many a rural mall carrier receives on Christmas morning enough eatables to stock bis larder for weeks to come.
