Cabinet Pudding.—8 oz. sponge cake, i pint milk, 2 eggs, 2 oz. sugar, 1 teaspoonful vanilla essence, 4‘oz. mixed candied fruits. Beat the eggs, add sugar, vanilla, milk, and fruit. Break spongecake into small pieces, and add to the other ingredients. Boil for 1^ hours in a greased mould, and serve with sweet sauce.
