T. Crosby, local manager of the Chicago Sunday Sun, is in jail charged with levyingblachmail, and the positive proof of his criminal intent is in possession of the officers. He told Dave Hattenback that Manager Lewis, who is under arrest at Omaha, was in possession of a story concerning Hattenback which he would publish in the Sunday Sun unlesshe was paid $25. Hattenback at first thought little of it, but when he told it to others they suggested that the blackmailer be trapped, Money was marked and the numbers recorded, and yesterday when witnesses were eecret* ed in the room Crosby was called and the deal completed. He was immediately afterwards arrested and the money taken from his person.
