McGrow organization.Phi Kappa Psi Party To Be On TelevisionA simulated party at Phi Knppa Psi was filmed this week as part of a CBS TV Eyewitness program.The party was held Monday evening, and was filmed by a mobile unit of CBS-TV.Phi Knppa Psi was selected as the site for the party because Paul Winter, leader of the sextet which played at the party, is a former member of Phi Kappa Psi at Northwestern.Winter’s agent phoned Phi Psi about two and one-hnlf weeks ago, and asked if the house would make arrangements for the party. Deun Robert Chase was contacted and ho approved the party.Women From CentenaryCentenary College supplied about thirty women for the party.The party was filmed to illustrate a new type of music: boasa nova. Bona nova is n Brazilian rhythm which sounds like a synthesis of jnzz and the samba.According to Al Griffith, vice-president and social chairman of Phi Kappa Pai, the program will be shown either Friday, December 14, or Friday, December 28, depending upon the outcome of the New York newspaper strike.Griffith said that the network planned to show about four minutes of the party on the program.
