An Attractive List of Races Arranged for the New York Tarfmen. New York. Dec. 18.—Secretary Crickmore, of the New York Jockey Club, announces a large number of stakes to close in January for the spring and fall meeting of 1872, viz.: Bowling Brook, Pocante county, Melrose and Vreedland handicap, the Bay Chester stakes and Throces’ Neck stakes. For all aces— Metropolitan mani one mile and a furlong rach, half forfeit, h is declared $10, 000 added, of which #2000 to second and £ 1,000 to thin, New York decker Muh, T n Slide, Cherry Diamond, Hudson River and Long Island Lightweight hanicaps, the Allbreece stakes and Fort Schayler stakes, Fall meeting—For two-year-olds, the White Pisins handicap, Mount Vernon and Essex stakes, For three-years-one—Jetham Ray handicap, For all ages—Manhattan and Country Club handicap. Fall meeting. 14—The Matron stakes for two- year-olds in that year, of £ 20 each with $710,000 Added, and a race which will be worth as much money as the Faturity. In addition to this formidable ray of dukes, the management reminds horsemen that the stakes already closed, the run at the spring and fall meetings of 18%2, are sure to be great races. Among these are the great Eclipse stakes, with $20,000 added money: the Juvenile, Larchmont, Antic tien, Galliard Bartow and Cassaarora, all for two-year-olds: the Withers, Belmonta, Ladies’ and Sea and Sound stakes for three year-olds, to be run out the spring meeting. for two-year-olds—Denman, Nursery, Fashion, Champagne and Matron ($15,000 added to the last named.) for three-year olds. fall test—Hunter and Jerome (with $10,000 added.)
