Liberal Irishmen.—We find the fol lowing letter in the Irish American, which reflects credit upon the Irishmen of Cooper stown, New Denmark, and other towns: Cooperstown, Wis., Nov. 23, 1866. Patrick Keenan, Exq., Treasurer, F. B., Sir.—Enclosed please find the sum of $115, being the amount contributed by the patriotic Irishmen of Cooperstown, for the purpose of aiding President Roberts and the Fenian Brotherhood in their glorious efforts to free Ireland from the tyrannical yoke of John Bull. The following are the names of those who subcribed, with the amount each gave, vis James Fennel, Thomas Veehan, Michael Campion, John Murphy, Timothy Dewane, Dennis Dewane, John Campion, John Fraw ley Patrick Frawley, Aarew Burtell, David Finnell, Patrick Houlahan, John Campion, Jr., Edward Campion, Michael Campion, Mi chael Lawler, Patrick scanlan, John Mar shall, $5 each ; John Dewane, Dennis Scanlan, Patrick Brady, $3 each ; John Lynch, Patrick Hickey, Joseph short, Loughlin Kelly, Martin Murphy, Michael Kelly, 52 each; Mrs. James Feanell, Mrs. John Dewane, Patrick Ryan, James Kane, John Meagher, $1 each.
