WAUSAUKEE, Wis. — William C. Wood, 83, of Wausaukee, Wis. passed away Friday, December 9, 2022 at The Bay at Nu Roc, Blackwell. William was born June 11, 1939 in Toledo, Ohio the son of William and Marie (Wolff) Wood II. He served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam Conflict In 1963 William was united in marriage to Betty L. Young and she preceded him in death. William was united in marriage on July 4, 2010 in Cheboy gan, Mich. to Sharon Tapley. He was a loving hus band, dad, grandpa and great-grandpa. Surviving are his wife, Sharon Wood; daughters, Yvonne Wood (Michael Phelps), Green Bay; Michele Davis, Powers, Mich.; son, Joe Davis, South Carolina; nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Betty and son, Bob Davis. Thank you dad for the lessons and wisdom you shared along the way. Honoring William’s wishes no services will be held.
