“Pave the Park” donationThe Minnedosa Knights of Columbus (MKC) donated $500 to the Sandy Lake Personal Care Home “Pave the Park” fundraiser. MKC treasurer Nick Melnyk, far left, and Grand Knight Terry Yanchyki present a cheque to nurse Jen Andrew and staff, from left, Joan Rogers, Jean Bielinski, Lillian Prosak, Donna Hales, MKC member Mabel Stebeleski, and Jenelle Grills. Residents Mary Melnyk, left, and Teenie Pastershank were also on hand last week for the official presentation. To date, approximately $7,000 has been raised, with the total cost of replacing the pavement in the nursing home park expected to be around $15,000.
