Rites Thursday for Mrs. Kropf of WolcottMrs. Emma Kropf, 86, formerly of Wolcott, Ind. and now of Fairview Haven Home, Fairbury, died at 5:05 p.m. Monday, December 9, 1974, at Fairbury hospital. She had been ill for the past three years.Services were at 10:30 a.m. (EST) Thursday, December 12, at the Apostolic Christian church at Wolcott, Ind. Visitationwas held after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Foster Funeral home at Wolcott. Burial wasin the Wolcott cemetery.She was bom July 31, 1888, in Tazewell county, the daughter of Sam and LydiaAckerman Hirstein. She married Levi Kropf in 1920 at Fairbury. He died in 1966.She is survived by three daughters; Miss Arles Kropf and Mrs. Gladys Widmer, both of Wolcott; Mrs. Velma Schladenhauffen, Forrest; two brothers, Albert Hirstein, Macon; Aaron Hirstein, Indianapolis, Ind.; two sisters, Mrs. Miriam Feldman, Fairbury; Mrs. Ida Edel, Winter Haven, Florida; seven grand children and one great-grandchild.She was member of the Apostolic Christian church, Wolcott, Ind.Culkin Funeral Home in Forrest was incharge of local arrangements.
