The district at present is controlled by write bishops and si two-thirds vote ia necessary to make a change.The ministerial degelates elected were Rev. H. Swann, of Victoria, and Rev. D. C. Lucy, district superintendent of the Dallas district.The laymen delegates elected were It. S. Lovinggood, A. M., president ot Sam Houston college, -of Austin, and Prof. R. U Sniith; A.
