The police started an investigation and the result has been disclosures to the effect that a skeleton factory is in operation in the city. The bodies were not stolen from the cemeteries of the city, but were (unied over to the men in whose possession the police found theut after the students in the medical colleges had done with them. They were taken to the barn and the flesh boiled from the bones, after which the hones were bleached with ether, mounted and sold. The men say they get $(50 apiece for the skeletons and are making good money.
