Christian Harold ReedFuneral services for Christian Harold Reed, 72, were held at the Bethany Lutheran hurch in Iowa Falls on Monday, Dec. 12, at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be at the Union Cemetery in IowaFalls with Reverend Michael Zolnosky and Reverend Hampton Surls officiating.He died Dec. 8,1983 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines.He was born July 19,1911 in Metz, Mo., to Chris and Loretta Cline Reed. He grew up and attended schools near Hubbard. In 1983, he married Anna Sylvina Simonson of Garden City and in 1931 he moved to Iowa Falls. He worked for Iowa Electric Light andPower for 41 years.Survivors include: four sons, Larry Reed of Eldora, Ronald Reed of Lakewood, Colo.; Terry Reed of Minneapolis, Minn., and Gary Reed of Las Vegas, Nev.; two daughters, Joyce Aguilera of Balboa, Calif., Connie Panthen of Eldora; 17 grandchildren and 8 greatgrandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters, Eva Mitterer of Alden and Dorothy Smith of Eldora. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, one brother, two infant daughters and one son.Services were arranged by Surls Funeral Home in Iowa Falls.
