OfficialintroductionMembers of the Roosevelt Stake, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, were instructed on a new program the Church fs introducing Jan. 1 during the final 1963 stake quarterly conference. They also heard general council from one of the general authorities of the church, Elder ElRay ChrLs-tiansen. who presided over the meetings. A partial reorganisation of the 162nd Quorum was also completed and several new Seventy were calledINSTRUCTIONS In the Hometeaching program which will replace ward teaching next year and will call for greater response from all Melchlzodek Priesthood members was givenless3'by Elder George Z. Aposhlan, member of the Priesthood Home Teaching Committee, He addressed the leaders of the stake in special sessions of Saturday and again on Sunday afternoon Visual aids in the form jf films were used to help introduce the program officially to ward and stake leaders.Another church leader who offered instruction to the stake pertaining to missionary work was Elder Raymond J Pace of the Church Missionary' Cimnut-tee. He met with the stake missionaries and gave genera! instructions in Saturday and Sunday meetings.said.
