Wilson ,who died suddenly Dec. 3rd at his home at Gladstone is held Wednesday, Dec. 5th. from Gladstone United Church. Rev. B. Pogue was the operat ing minister. Pallbearers were Joe Cook, Roy McBride, Ernie McBride, James Adamson, W ter Otto and Homer Fehr. I ferment took place in the local cemetery with Hammond's Fu neral Home in charge of ar rangements. Mr. Wilson was born in the Parry Sound District of Mu koko, Ont, in 1875, and at the age of four years, came with is parents to Manitoba on first train that ran into Winni peg. From here they continued the trip by oxen to the Tupper Gladstone district, settling on the farm presently occupied by the Craik family. In 1906 he made the trip to Vancouver and remained there for four years. In 1910 he return ed and married Jennie Muirhead and the couple spent the follow ing two years in Vancouver, re turning then to Manitoba to farm in the Gladstone district. He retired from farming i 1950 and built a nice home on the west side of town on a river lot, where he took such pride in keeping the grounds beautiful. He was a loyal member of the Orange Lodge for may years. Relatives and friends attend ing the funeral were from Sioux Lookout, Ont, Winnipes, Por tage la ‘Prairie, Brandan, Doug las, Carberry, Winnipegosis and Plumas,
