Degree Work Is HighlightOf Special ConvocationsMilford, Dec 12 — Over 275 members of the Scottish _Rite of Freemasonry throughout theNew England states attended the special convocations of the Aaron P. Huhges lodge of Perfection, 14th degree, and Oriental Council, Princes of Jerusalem, 16th degree, at the Masonic Temple here Saturday night.Members and guests were present from Nashua, Manchester, Milford, Wilton, Peterboro, Concord, Boston. Dowell and numerous other places, including Honolulu.Donald M. Brown, thrice potent master, presided over the Hughes lodge session, and Blaylock Atherton of Nashua, sovereign prince, over the Oriental Council.The program opened at 5 o’clock with balloting on petitions, followed by communication of the fourth to 14th degrees except the seventh. It was followed by a meeting of Oriental Council during which the 15th degree was communicated.Presentation of the seventh degree. provost and judge, was conferred in full form and ceremony, under the direction of Edwin A.
