Wesleyan Gains 10-Point Lead In Opener3t•y.nisyinbol’tiec-The Titan bucketmen breezed over an arch rival, Wabash college of Indiana Friday, Dec. 9, to the tune of 10 big points, 47-37.5The inaugural victory was a duplication of the football starter, for it was Wabash that was the victim in that game, The duplication goes even farther than that; if you recall, two boys were standouts on the Wabash gridiron and the same two were main cogs on Friday night —■ Hank Bennett and Jimmy Hersh-barger.Hank’s 21 points, his rebounding and fighting leadership made him one of the standout players on the floor. The state will set up facilities in the Memorial gymnasium for this program during the week of Jan. 7.After the unit for taking chest X-rays has been installed, the schedule will be arranged so that one X-ray may be taken each minute. All students registered in physical education classes will be X-rayed during their first physical education class of that week.
