M.—Community sing, led by Myr. Overmyer. 9:55 P. M.—“Star-Spangled Banner,” by Gypsy Smith choir and band. One thousand workers for the 1972 Community Chest started today on the first effort to obtain $605,412.92 to finance the relief, welfare and character build ing institutions of Indianapolis for the coming year. ‘Tonight at Cable Tabernacle a crowd expected to reach into the thousands will hear the results of the day’s work.
