Nyabing Honor Board. To the Editor.Sir,—I would ignore Mr. Gaby’s letter in the columns of your con-Smporary of the 5tb ult. alto-ther, were it not for one clause in it. He offers to forfeit £10 to the Returned Soldiers' Fund if 1 cannot prove that I did not make a jest at the expense of men whom I should honor. I accept Mr. Gaby’s challenge, and invite him to attend a public meeting at Nyabing on Friday, 21st inst., at 3 o’clock (if business will allow him), when I undertake to refute his accusations both as regards the above, and also as regards the “ false statement’’ which he accuses me of having made in my previous letter. In order that the Returned Soldiers'Fund may still benefit, I undertake to pay a Bimilar sum to that offered by Mr. Gaby, if the gentleman will prove I his accusation.—Yonrs, c..H. J.
