MATHEW HORN DEAD »PIONEERMONTE-RY HAS BIG FAMILYMathow Horn was born in Estella9cmnty, Kontucky, Feb. 20, 1830, and died at his home in Moulton, Iowa Sunday, Dec, 7, 1913, at 5:15 p. m.! aged 83 years, 8 months. 7 days.Mr. Horn came to Iowa with his parents, Aaron Horn and wife, in 1849 and was married to Mary S. Langsford in 1859 To this union were born 11 children, 7 of whom survive a loving parent. In 1885 he united with the Baptist church at Liberty and was a consistent member thereof. Six brothers and three sisters had preceded this venerable grandfather to the grave Of the children living are: Delmar and Tillman of Miller, S. D., Ambrose of Mark, Iowa, Harley and Mrs. Ella Burgher of Moulton, Eva Barnes and Lillie Starr of Monterey.The funeral was held on Tuesday afternoon at Liberty church, Rev. Cochrane conducting the solemn service.
