The Rickards Vaudeville Co., a( present in possession of the Theatre Royal, have been playing to good business since the opening night. The chief attraction is Vulcana, the strong woman. Although not yet 21 years of age she has, by a system of physical training, developed extraordinary strength—so much of it, in fact, that there are few, if any, frien in Perth who would care to dispute her right to the front seat in a tramcar. She is ably assisted bv a male athlete, who styles himself Atlas, but who, though not perhaps equal to carrying the world on his shoulders, nevertheless performs some very clever feats of strength and agility. The other members of the company are all capable artists, among whom Mrs. Simms Reeves deserves special mention for her beautiful singing. Maizella and her trained birds commenced a season on Thursday night.
