Troufsky, of Riverside, who has been missing for the past three years, turned up a week ago last Saturday safe and sound and in good health. His sudden departure for points unknown created quite a sensation at Riverside, Montpelier and at Lin wood, where relatives of the young man resided, and there were suspicions of loul play. He paid some money down upon it and suddenly, and immediately thereafter, he pulled up stakes and disappeared. No one, not even his relatives, knew he was going and no one knew where he went, all supposing that he was dead.Shortly afterwards Isidore Richlen, who had married Troufsky’s sister, and who had been a renter, purchased a farm and it was also learned that he paid for it in cash and that he still had $550 out on interest secured by. mortgage. As his brother-in-law had always been a thrifty young man it rumored that he had been instrument-*2 In his taking off and this went 00 far, that a party of neighbors exhumed the body of a cow which had o.— and been buried, thinking that may be the body had been placed beneath it.These reports were very aggravating ! to the members of the family on both sides. As time went on there were no developments. At one time tuere was a rumor to the effect that the body had been found and was embalmed that it might be held until such time as the grand jury would meet—only reports without the slightest foundation for their authenticity. It was Saturday afternoon when Frank, who had come to this city, took the Firefly and got off at Linwood. He went directly to the home of the brother-in-law who had been suspected and was received with open arms. When told of the trouble his sudden departure caused, he was greatly surprised. He stated that he had been in Illinois all of the time and hau he thought of the anxiety and suspicion thrown around him he would have let them know of his whereaboutsHe went to Montpelier on Friday last to see other members of his family.
