During the J coining few months, the limelight will be focused upon the hardwood court where the outlook for a j championship five is the best it var-inuia for the iAUSwjuokfc-and their mentor Coach R. IL Lav-ik. At the first call for men, seven of last year’s lettermen reported for practice_and .since that time tit hers have appeared on the court. Many new men are on hand to add competition and the prospect is one to make Flagstaff fans smile.John (Hat) Allen and his brother (Jove Allen receive*! an equal number of votes for the ntfico oi I captain of the team. Led hy these two, Hubert Detloff, Ike Zaner* lack Wilson, Los McClure, Ko\ (Buddy) Kieren. Lynn Race, J1»im Cooper and Clyde Davis will make up the main strength of the team, while Otto Fritz, Clinton Wager. Don Webb and Louvitt promise them a fight for first string positions.The Lumberjack schedule this year will be a heavy one and will allow the northerners to meet the strongest southwestern teams. Although the dates for the various games have not been definitely decided. with the exception of a few. a formative schedule is presented.One game; Compton Junior College. Two games. University of New Mexico. Two games. University of Arizona. Four games, Tempo Teachers College.-There will be othci games which have not vet been definitely arranged.
