M«rt. Ai nks S, Freeman of Gagecounty, who recenty purchased the Jo-seph K. Nelms farm upon the Willow,has been out looking after the building of a new barn to replace the one on the ranch recently destroyed by fire. Thenew barn is now enclosed and the workprogressing nicely. She returns to her home in Gage county, close-of this week, Mrs, Freeman has lived in Nebraska 39 years, her husband, it will he remembered taking the first homestead in America under the homestead act.
