High Water. - During the late Reason. of b tor ms the Truekeo Eiver overflowed its banks and inundated a considerable portion of that part of Truokoe Meadows adjacent to Stone Gates* crossing. The hay stacked out in tho Held was surrounded with water, but nono of it was floated away. Had the rise continued a few hours longer much damage would Iisyo been done; as it was tho water reached places heretofore considered securo against any flood liable to ocour.
