Fast break points Tivy HS From staff reports sports@dailytimes.com The Tivy boys basketball team lost 46-40 on Friday to San Antonio Johnson at the San Antonio ISD Basketball Tournament as Zach Overby scored 14 points and Matt Perry added 11 poi hetbert newertets at the San Antonio SD Tivy faces San Antonio Jefferson, who lost to San Antonio Sam Houston 79-42 on Friday, at noon Saturday. Harper HS sports@dailytimes.com The Ladyhorns went 0-2 on Friday at the South Llano River Classic in Junction, losing to Mason 58-25 and Brady, 45-18. Sophomore Sarah Whitten had 10 points against Mason. Whitten and Taylor Reid had seven against Brady. Medina HS From staff reports The Bobcats won a spot in a noon Saturday semifinal game at the Pearsall Tournament with a pair of wins Friday. Medina (10-1 overall) beat host team Pearsall 75-34 in the 20 points by sophomore Mitchell Black. The Bobcats then beat Crystal City 62-43, with senior Sammie Williamson scoring 21 points to go along with Landry's team-high 23. Ladycats split two in Poteet Tourney Kendall Richardson scored 10 points and grabbed 12 rebounds as Medina beat Stockdale 31-18 in its second tournament game Friday.
