Miriam LFuneral services for Miriam L, Stewart, 73, will be Friday at 10 a.m. at Surls Funeral Home in Iowa Falls. Burial will be at Union Cemetery. Reverend Gary Jenkins will officiate.Miss Stewart died Tuesday, December 8, 1987, at Ellsworth Municipal Hospital. She was both February 14, 1914, in Hardin County to Charles and Elizabeth Bogie Stewart,She graduated from Iowa Falls High School in the class of 1932. She worked for the Hoxie Fruit Company of Iowa Falls for several years and later worked for Dr. John Steenrod until his retirement.. StewartShe lived at Heritage Care Center.She was a member of the First Congregational Church and the Order of the Eastern Star.Survivors include: three cousins, Mrs. Elaine Denger of Des Moines, Mrs. Jean Iverson of Dows and Mrs. Alice Mae Luedke of Faribault* Minnesota.She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Richard.Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and one hour before services on Friday,Suris Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
