Mrs. M. Christenson Rites Held at RakeMrs. Mildred Christenson.' died December 6, 1964 at the Holy Family Hospital in Esthervilie. She had reached the age of 52 year, six month and 18 days.Mildredi Alida was born May 18, 1912 to Andrew and Sarah Vorland, near Ceylon, Minn. She lived:' in nearby communities during her childhood. While living near Rake she married Elmer Christenson of Rake. They lived on a farm near Rake all of their married life. During their life together they opened their home to several welfare children. In 1944 they adopted three children, Barbara, Lyrrni and Raymond.Her husband preceded her in death in October, 1952. The following year she moved with her three children to Cedar Falls where they lived since. She was (Continued on page 2)
