Globe 1 rotters JoTO FACE FASTBulldog* To Open Season Against Hinton QuintThe origrinial Globe Trotters, world's champion colored basketball team, win headline the double header card at the high school gym next Wednesday evening when they meet the Western Union Golden Eagles at 8:30.In the curtain raiser, the Le Mars high school Bulldogs will open their court season by meeting the Hinton high school quintette.The Globe Trotters or “Men From Harlen as they are commonly termed are fine of the fastest teams in the country and as they say, “handle a basketball like a monkey does a peanut In the last three years, they have only lost 27 games in 479 starts. The Western Union basketeers met the Trotters last year and gave them a very good game.Carey will have to build his team this year around such stars as Kissinger.
