THE EDGEWOOD JOURNALL. B. BLANCHARD WILL ERECT NEW BUILDINGHas Purchased Old Slate Bank Lot, Joe Ingersoll Comer and E. L Noble Property.It will be good news to everybody interested in Edgewood to learn that another new building will be erected as soon as the warm weather appears in the spring. L. B. Banchard having concluded to put up a new modern, fire-proof structure on one of the best corners in the city, that formerly oc cupied by the State Bank building, Joe Ingersoll store and Noble’s Music Store, all of which were destroyed |in the big fire in 1908. Possession of the land was given last week and Mr. Blanchard immediately put men to work clearing fhe land of odds and ends that had accumulated thereon during the past six years, and also putting in the foundation. The new building will run from the street north and joining onto the C. S. Maxson store building, now occupied by the Maxson Densmore general store, and east to the alley at the electric building.It is Mr. Blanchard’s intention to handle his automobile business in the new building,|_his sales being such as to demand a larger and more commodious space in which to store his stock and properly display it. It means another substantial addition to the business houses of the city and will make a great improvement in the appearance of this sightly corner
