He was a graduate of Sandusky High School and attended Bowling Green State University majoring in secondary education. Willie was a member of The Assembly of Jesus Christ Church under the leadership of Elder Johnnie Cross, and was an ordained minister for The Pentecostal Assemblies of the World.Leaving to cherish loving memories are his wife, Margie A. (Cross J Irby; daughter, Brittany N. Seavers; sons, Darcel Irby, Edward A.
