Writes While Asleep. _LONDON ELECTRICIAN.• MENTAL CARRY-OVER.LONDON. Nov. 2fl (by Air Mall).— Mr. D. A. Lamb, who for the past three yean has been In charge of the electric lighting effect* for all the big exhibitions at Olympia, London, is a man who works while he Is asleep. Every night while fnat asleep he writes notes to himself and la able to go to hla office in the morning with hla day's work already planned.It has been my habit. he said thla week, to leave a scribbling pod and pencil by the aide of my bed so that in the morning I could make notes»# ». s.. ,Wa t*MM w Uw UMtik,Then suddenly I found notes on the pad In the morning, although I was quite sure I had not awakened during the night. The notes were quite legible with the important points underlined. I have sometime* found as many aa seven notes—not meaningless, but actually concerning things which I had to do that day.I became worried and went to a psycho-analyst. He told me that I have a ‘mental carry-over’— that my brain has too much with which to deal and goes on working while 1 nm asleep.Now I’ve given up putting a scribbling pad by my bedside. It was the only way.
