The notes were quite legible with the important points underlined. I have sometime* found as many aa seven notes—not meaningless, but actually concerning things which I had to do that day.I became worried and went to a psycho-analyst. He told me that I have a ‘mental carry-over’— that my brain has too much with which to deal and goes on working while 1 nm asleep.Now I’ve given up putting a scribbling pad by my bedside. It was the only way.
