THE CROCKETT FAMILYCOMINGFamous Entertainers Will Be At State Next WeekAn announcement of importance to all lovers of good stage entertainment has been made by the manager of The State Theatre, Ukiah. The Crockett Family, famous radio-screen-stage troupe of entertainers, will appear in person on the State’s stage next Tuesday, December 15. Their present tour, with an all new show, headlined the RKO circuit, which included Chicago, New York and Boston, for 60 weeks. Last summer they made an extensive * mr of the Pacific Coast and were so well received they have decided on another personal appearance tour.Famous In Films,While in Hollywood, they appeared regularly in motion pictures, their list including appearances in five feature pictures, two western serials, numerous short subjects and as the musical background for Oswald cartoons.They Are Different.Unlike most “family” acts, the Crocketts are a family in real life. The troupe consists of “Pa” and “Ma“ Crockett, their four sons, George, Albert, Johnny and Alan, and their daughter, EJlnora. Also appearing with the Crocketts is “Sam, the Old Accordion Man,” who for the past 14 months has won his way into the hearts of the Crockett family and their fans with his unusual accordion playing and sweet organ music.
