FOLLOWING STROKE OF APOPLEXY FRIDAYFormer Treasurer of Fairfield County Seriously 111 At His ’ Home Two and One-Half j Miles Northwest of Amanda. |Thomas 3. Barr* aged 68, ex-treasurer of Fairfield County and former resident of Lancaster is reported to be in a critical condition at his home on a farm two and one-half miles northwest of Amanda as the result of j * stroke of apoplexy suffered yester-; day afternoon at four o’clock.Mr. Barr has not been in good health for the last two or three years. He had just started to leave the house for a short walk yesterday afternoon when be was suddenly stricken and fell on the porch.Dr. A. D. Reiehelderfer of Amanda was called to render medical attention. He found that Mr. Barr’s left side had been paralyzed. His speech however, was not effected.Mr. Barr served two terms as treasurer of this county having first been elected to office 'in 1907 and then re-elected on the Democratic ticket in 1909. C. V. Baker was his successor in office.
