AT MEETING TO BE HELD IN COMMERCIAL CLUBROOMS TONIGHT PLANS WILL BE LAID FOR RAISING MONEY TO MOVE FORT BORST FROM PRESENT SITE TO NEW CITY PARK-O ;-The beads of the various clubs and other organizations of . the city have been urged to attend a meeting to be held in the rj'Commercial Club rooms‘tonight, at which plans will be dis-, cussed for raising money to move the old blockhouse from its present location oil the bank of the, Chehulis river to the new-lv acquired city property on the banks of the Skookumehuek. It is’proposed to raise this ntoi;ev by a tag sale or similar process, the school children and club women participating.Those who attend tonight’s meeting will not be asked to .•donate a nickel. Those who attend can do so with empty pocketbooks and have no fear of embarrassment. It is hoped I hat there will be a big turnout, as the blockhouse questionis a vital one at tin* present lime. . .... ,.In connection with this meeting, the regular jolhiication of the Commercial Club will be held, at which the mortgage on 'the club’s furnishings will be officially burned.
