Evansthe other day because it. insisted onchasing foxes and wouldn’t stay at, home The lamb’s mother early in its life disowned it and Mr Ingles gaveit to a dog which was raising a litter of hound pups. The lamb suckled at the breast of the dog, grew* up with the pups and waxed strong and fleet of limb,It rejoiced in the sport of the dogs and withal became quite a gay young thing. It ran rabbits to its heart’scontent, outstripping the dogs, but not knowing what to do with the rabbit when caught.
