Shackleford died at ton thirty at the home of her daughter, Mrs. K. If. Hammond, at Ann Arbor.Mrs. Stuart, of this city, was called to her bedside several days ago, because of an attack of parlysls. which occured during the latter part of November. Mrs. Shackleford was unable to withstand this attack and succumbed this morning, when the i I*1 Angel of Death called for her spirit. | Mrs. Shackleford lived here for aiw number of years, having first resided j 5 in Marietta. Her husband proceed-1 ed her to the graft* several years• ago, being a writer oL national repute, and using the nffiide-plume, ••noppo. IMrr ’’hackleford Is survrveu by Tour children, Mrs. A. W. Stuart, ol this city, Mrs. E. H. Hammond, of Ann Arbor, Mich., Mrs. R. E. Roberts. of Detroit and Mr. J. M. Shackleford, of Mobile. The body will be taken to Atlanta and laid beside that of her husband.Friends In Thomnsvllle regret exceedingly to hear of the death of this lovely woman.
