STOCKTON, Dec. 9—The timely warning from a trusty in the county jail last night prevented the escape of Achille Lenci, Arthur Wolf and C. Genesi, all awaiting trial on burglary charges. The men had secured a file and had sawed five bare loose from a lower call facing the Inner yard and were just about to crawl through the aperature when officers appeared on the scene and drove them to cover.
