Murray Overcrowded OKLAHOMA CITY, Dec. 8—(#) —If Murray State School of ore culture at Tishomingo ci nish more accompd students, it has not only reached its limit of enrollment but has pass ed it by at least 200, the state ex aminer and inspector reported to day. The report, written by T. E. Johnson, deputy examiner and in spector, was studied by the State Board of Agriculture, which ad ministers the school. After reporting financial affairs in balance and college records in good condition, Johnson’s report turned to the crowded living con ditions of the 381 young men and 168 girls who attend the college. With enrollment 120 greater than last year, many students are living three and four to a room. A 42- room dormitory is housing 125 girls. Similar conditions exist in the two men’s dormitories and in a barracks building where male stu dents sleep on cots, Johnson urged every safety pre caution, pointing out that the crowded dormitories are not fire proof. Joe C. Scott, agriculture board president, said conditions would be alleviated when a new $145,000 dor mitory project is completed. The board called for bids Dec. 23.
