Shera, eat at the opposite end. Following the dinner, while cigars and cigarettes were enjoyed, brief but it addresses were delivered by President Hughes, Coach Little, Assistant Coach Wiecke, Captain Tom ‘teil , Dick Wolf, Abe Hawk ed Virgil Perry. Davis, George Essig, Elmer Essig, and Bob Wright. Other invited guests were: Presi dent R. M. Hughes, Coach George F Tél Atle, Assistant Coach Wieche, Manager Baer, W. P. Roudebush, and Ray Milders. Notes of the Banquet It wan said after the meal that Carl House and ‘‘Tasty’’ got away the whole turkey, the boys claim that the statement is an exag geration. The finale was particularly ap propriate—everybody stood and join ed in the Miami alma mater song. The ice cream was a novel feat of the menu. Red, white and brown ice cream, frosen in the likenét of a football player, was served. The cream statues were about five inches high. The red stock and sweaters were cleverly tnt and tucked under the arm of each was a brown football. The artistic decorations , the work of Edwin Ringold, who was highly complimented upon his splen did ability. Messia Willis Brothers, who served , were the recipients of congratulations upon every 4 for the masterly manner in which every detail was cared for. A more elaborate and artistic banquet never was given in Oxford. The cuisine was superb: the service was unex celled. Fiven the most minute details received attention, and there was not ae in the affair from beginning as Neuselhaus, who conceived the idea of giving the dinner, and to whose untiring efforte much of its success is attributable, was also given many hearty congratulations.
