They include property, deeds, wills, a photo of the ancient Noe Castle in France and1 particularly an old document about some leases (soon expiring) of vast tracts of land in New Jersey, including Menlo Park, also ^lew York, Long Island (Barnum Island),' and Staten Island.These properties belong to aIbranch of Pierre (Peter) Noe’s descendants, who was the son of a French Hughenot nobleman, land in America 1663 with the Spotted Cow, settling on Staten Island. His ancestry has been traced to the eleventh century, at the time of the Crusades. The Noe family were close to most of the Royal families of Europe. Pierre Noe was very wealthy. His property was mostly located in or around Wood-bridge, Elizabeth Town, Newark, Jersey City, also in New York City, corner Broad and New streets, also what is now Trembly Point, N. J.One of the wills discovered is of an old woman, who died a few years ago, nearly 100 years old, she being a descendant of the firBt Pierre Noe, and daughter of Isaac I^e and a granddaughter of Amos Noe, whose descendants are sought. Pierre Noe had only one son, John and a daughter, Mary, who married a Trimble, also a French Hughenot. It is. alleged that Amos Noe, son of Daniel, andgreat grandson of Pierre Noe,. was%one of the principal heirs to the Noe estate, and it is therefore urgently requested that all his descendants communicate ,with the Universal Heirship Bureau with a view to organize and co-operate, and help in this way to effect a settlement of this estate before it is too late, the leases soon expiring.
