The deceased was born j ^ 1 in New Haven and had spent his en- j o j tire life there. He learned the black- r I smith trade with his father when 1 quite young and followed this occupa-; tion until his last illness compelled hi me to retire. He was twice married | —to Miss .Catherine Poiry in 1876 and to Miss Helen Huth in 1888. His first wife died years ago. Surviving children are Frank J., and Fred B. of Ft. Wayne, and George C. of New Haven, by the first marriage; Mrs.A. Schnelker, Mrs. .
