Mother andchildren are doing well.Pikeville is getting to be a lively little place, and it seems ten cents will make some people very lively.A number of sheep belonging to Wm. Kays were killed by two dogs recently. One of the dogs was owned by H. Uppencamp and the other by Wm. Wilkey. The dogs were arrest- jed and brought to trial. Uppen-j|camp's dog was sentenced to death, not being able to disprove the | charge against him, while Wilkey's dog plead his own case and ; made it appear that he filed the | sheep in self-defence. He \\\.3 discharged and set at liberty. Here after the sheep will have to look out for themselves.H. B. Miskell and Wm. Kays have completed their fall delivery of fruit trees and are well salisfui with the success attained. II. B Miskell, representing the Rose Hill nursery,is now convassing in Warrick Co. for the spring delivery. He will be home again by Christmas.Wesley Stutsman and family, of Duff, were visiting the family or J s Stutsman during the past week.Wm. Wilkey is closing out his business preparatory to moving to Huntingbmgh.
