One can almost hear the film score overture swell and imagine the lights dim and the curtains nse as construction workers put finishing touches on the new Marketplace Cinema 12 in time for its Friday opening.‘it’s going to be a squeaker, but we're going to get it done,” said O’Neil Theatres’ field operations manager Steve Moss.The 12-screcn movie theater is set to open its doors for the 7 p.m. showing Fnday. Moss said. Construction on the cinema complex began inJuly.Three of the theaters will have stadium seating, with higher chair backs and steeply sloping rowsso no one’s view will be blocked.“There is digital sound in all three,” Moss said. “All the first-run, blockbuster type films will run on those screens.”The largest stadium-seating theater, which scats 300, includes handicap seating.The vestibule where customers line up to buy tickets is enclosed in glass, “... so people won't have to stand outside in line,” Moss said.Movie memorabilia will be another postopening concession stand offering, he said.
