SANTA FE (UPS) — Nina DuHaime of Santa Fe, an offi cial of two oil companies, Saturday sent a telegram to President Nixon criticizing his efforts to force a cutback in oil prices. “Your announcement of action to force the price of domestic crude oil down rolled the death knell for producers living on stripper wells and currently operating these wells on a slen der margin of profit,” the telegram read in part. Mrs. DuHaime is a director of Atom Inc., and is president of Consolidated Interest. She resides in Santa Fe. Mrs. DuHaime said if oil prices are cut stripper wells would be abandoned pre maturely, damaging the economy of the state and nation. “I understand what the President is trying to do in curbing inflation but the oil in dustry did not contribute to inflation,” said Mrs. DuHaime.
