An all-star card that promises to set a new high in Elks boxing wrestling entertainment was an nounced today by Matchmaker Leo Kossick for next Tuesday night. Popular Otto Kuss, the handsome ex-Hoosier footballer, grapples with Frank Topas, the Bulgarian brute, in the one-fall, one-hour limit wrest ling match. In the six-round boxing headlin er, Don Atchison of Jamestown, the only leather pusher to Kayo Ray Cossette in 126 fights, meets Jock Moore of Proctor, one of the few boys to outdo Max Kalbrener. They are welterweights. A double-barrelled semiwindup of four-rounders sends Stout Petrie of Park Rapids against Billy Norton of Fargo and likeable Billy Cody of Proctor against Sonny Wood of Fargo. Petrie and Norton are wel ters, Cody and Wood lightweights. Ray Munn and Christ Reinhart, both of Fargo, tangle in four rounds at 155 pounds, and Billy Parker of Park Rapids meets Cal Caron of Proctor in four heats at the lightweight limit. Kossick announced that the Elks gym has been thrown open free to those wishing to learn boxing. Kid Rippatoe, negro welterweight, will give instruction. Charley Retz laff plans to begin workouts at the Elks gym before meeting Joe Louis in Chicago, January 17. Next Tuesday’s card will begin promptly at 8:15 p.m. General ad mission is 50 cents with an addi tional 25 cent charge for reserved seats. Reservations can be made by calling the Elks club.
