The Las Cruces Ditch Associ 1-tion had its annual election on Dec. 3. A larger vote eras cast than usual, tp$ votes being polled. Lino Sisneros, mayordomo and Jas. Quensenberry, Thomas Branigan, K. 11. Hollingsworth, Sr., commissioners were Circled, there being no opposition, Mr. WfCWtU who was in the board liistyear was not aide to serve this year owing to ill-health.With the construction of our new dam our Ditch Commissioners are alive to the changes which will be necessary to meet this new order of things and I think the Association will find it has made no mistake in the re-election of its old board of commissioners.At an enthusiastic and largely attended meeting of this Association held on Nov. 24th last, much was done to amend the rules and regulations under which the business of this association is conducted, At this meeting the treasurer, Capt. Branigan, presented a financial statement covering the ten months of his office, from Jan. t, to Nov. 1.1906, which showed the finances in excellent condition. Mr. Branigan mill make his yearly report in January 1907 which will be of grea0nter-est to the members of this organisation.
