Runaway.—Oa Mondaj afternoon 1amMr. Tbos. Begg, of the firm of Begg McWiilunw, soda water manufacturers,thought he would indulge in hie cutter ride of the season. The roada were rough and the hone waa feeling frisky; on Lindaay atreet he aucceeded in getting beyond control, and turning down Melbourne street upaet the cotter, throwing Mr, Begg out, who, however, hung on to the reina and waa dragged half a block,I until finally his head struck the sidewalk and be had to let go. The people in the vicinity immediately came to his assistance and after doing all they oould, he was driven by Mr. Gunn to Dr. Kempb’s, whoput three stitches in the cut on his head, and used considerable plaster on plaoes where the skin had been rubbed oft It waa a very dose call and Tom is thankful he eecaped as well as he did.
