The marriage of Miss Can dace Kay Cochran, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert M. Cochran, U. N. Washington Blvd., to Gary Lawrence Eyler, son of Mr. and Mrs. George L. Eyler of Indianapolis, Ind., took place at 7:30 o'clock Mistletoe Mistletoe has long been as sociated with the yule season, remind Purdue University ex tension horticulturists. Officiating for the exchange of vows was the Rev. Richard Reiss. Presenting the musical prelude were Roger Heather, organist, and John Puckett, vocalist. Lawrence Lakes performed the duties of best man. Ushers were Douglas Eyler and Jeffery Anderson. The bride’s gown of can dlelight pear satin featured an empire bodice and sheer yoke of illusion outlined with re embroidered Venetian lace. The attached train swept to chapel length, Mrs. Dennis Gibbons was the matron of honor. A reception followed at Waldo’s with Mrs. Herman Brandenburg, Mrs. Raymond Insprucker and Mrs. Shirley Palmer as hostesses. The newlyweds will reside in Indianapolis after a honeymoon at Fort Lauderdale, Fla. The bride is employed by ‘Mosler and the groom is an employe of United Systems Inc., Indianapolis. St. Mark's United Methodist Church in Fairfield was the setting for the ceremony at 7:30 o'clock Saturday evening, Dec. 4, which united in marriage Miss Marianne’ _— Beinette Calabria and Brian Lynn Halcomb. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Paul Calabria, 785 Louise Ave., and the late Mr. Calabria. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Halcomb, 3 Ramon Drive, are the parents of the groom. Officiating for the cermony was the Rev. Robert Long. Mrs. Tom Richardson was the organist. Richard Scuitti performed the duties of best man, Ronnie Sandlin was the usher. The bride wore a long sleeved princess gown of heavy floral Swiss lace over taffeta. Her silk illusion veil, was held by a lace crown. Mrs. Mitchell Cress, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Beverly Hingsbergen and Miss Reinette Calabria, youngest sister of the bride, who was a junior at tendant. The reception was held at Nichting's Holiday Inn. Assisting with the hospitalities were Mrs. Daniel Wiegand, Mrs. Charles Berlin, Mrs. Robert Wood and Mrs. Edward Kemp. Mr. and Mrs. Halcomb will reside at 1151 N. Washington Blvd. The bride was graduated from Fairfield High School in 1969 and is employed by the Dollar Federal Savings and loan Association of Fairfield. The groom was graduated from Taft High School in 1968 and is employed by U. SS. Plywood Champion Papers Inc. Miss Sharon Lynn Stricker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Merle Stricker, 335 Harrison Ave., became the bride of Rick C. Grantz, son of Harold Grantz, 22 Millville Ave., and the late Margaret Grantz, in a ceremony at 7:30 o'clock ‘Saturday evening, Dec. 4 in St. Stephen Church. The Rev. Gordon Gehring officiated. The church choir sang the Mass and Mrs. Ralph Wisecup was the organist, Don Kell performed the duties of this man. Ushers were Rick Kramer, Jack Jacquemin and Kerry Cornett. Bands of Venise lace defined the waistline of the bride's gown and lace formed the standup collar and bodice trim. Matching lace edged the sheer mantilla. The bride's sister, Miss Sandy Stricker, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Cheryl Creech and Miss Nancy Young. A reception followed at the American Legion hall. Hostesses were Susan Smith, Diane Reiff and Gladys Kolb. After a honeymoon at Lincoln Lodge in Columbus the newlyweds will reside at 239 Millville Ave. .Both are graduates of Taft High School. MRS.
