Brucei, {Marshall has - been appointed captain of. the, Ejwanis Traffic Patrol at Gibsons Elementary school. This patrol is under ■ direction of Mr. JiiL. Fer-ari, teacher.: In reorganizing the traffic patrol, Bruce, a grade seven pupil was named captain and Ricky Gibb and Trevor Oram .-both in grade six will be lieutenants in charge .of ya team.Team i patrolmen are Linda Thomas, Carol} Procknow andDavid Kennett, all in grade sevenTeam 2 under direction of Trevor . Oram are Francis West, Denise Hicks and Mike Eyerly, all in grade seven, and Trevor Johnson of grade six.In addition to their regular duties . Qf patrolling the crosswalk at North Road and the highway the patrols have undertaken a safety check of all bicycles used in attending school. This has proven a - worthwhile project which has encouraged children to be more safety conscious about their bicycles. Another check is planned for the spring.Motorists are asked to continue their co-operation in aiding the school traffic patrolmen in the performance of their duties in helping children across the busy intersection before and fitter school.
