MARIAN ANDERSON RECITAL N JANUARY One of the greatest artists of the conten!ry stage will return to Phi when Marian Anderson, internal renowned confram~, gives a recital at the Academy of Music on the evening of January 16th. This will mark Miss Anderson's first appearance in Philadelphia, the city of her birth, in five years. During the time she has been abroad sh peared don world capitols, and in the Salzburg Music Festival, one of the most ar tistic, as well as critical music cen tres of the globe. Her reception, in every instance, was tremendous. Miss Anderson is being presented by the Marion Anderson Recital Com - ST Chapters, Alpha ppa Alpha Sorority, Omega Omega, Psi Mu. The Committee, which is headed by Lola J. G has gone to unlimited expense and effort to bring this noted artist back to her people. MARION ANDERSON
